Hello, Darlin’…

After a long hiatus, I promise to start posting again on here. I’ve been spending most of my time on Facebook and Twitter lately, mostly sharing links and doing minor updates.

I’ve also spent alot of time promoting my Facebook page, R.B.Bailey Jr…and it’s up to 38,000+ likes so far. I haven’t posted on Youtube for awhile, either. I can’t quite get the fans in my preferred areas of the world, but I’ll keep trying.

My last story was “The Courageous Girl With The Special Gift”…and I finished that (unillustrated) nearly a year ago. “George” still isn’t finished, so if I can find my beat and get started back on it…I need to finish that up. That’s the problem with starting a story, then stopping…you lose that beat, vision, ryhtm…whatever you want to call it. It kinda changes flavors, when you pick up and start writing the same story after a while. We’ll see how it goes…and I7ll keep you updated.

“Ryo”, my film adaption of “The New Neighbor”, is still on the table. Gotta get out and start casting and filming, somehow. I know I’ll be doing alot of the work myself, but I want to see it through. I have to. So far, I did cobble together a nice program introduction video for the company I work for, and it was well received by top brass…so that made me proud.

A major book retailer here in Japan, Kinokuniya, stocked a copy of “The New Neighbor” on its shelves, back late last year. Sales are nil, but at least I made it that far, so far. Gotta get up off my ass and start huckstering this thing on the streets, I reckon.

On a personal note, my son Alex starts elementary school in April, so we’re excited about that. He has come a long way this past year, and we couldn’t be prouder!

More later…
