Saitama, Japan is a great place to live, personally speaking. Known for many historical sites and places (Tokorozawa Airfield is one that comes to mind) cities like Omiya, Urawa and Kawagoe have everything that Tokyo and its suburbs have to offer, while nestled in the countryside. There are still plenty of transportation options, that match anywhere in Japan. The people are kind, neighborly, and helpful. Go further north in Saitama, there are lots of attractions for the whole family. I’ve enjoyed the twenty years I’ve lived and worked here.
