First of all, a HUGE THANK YOU to all of our new subscribers!! We hope that you enjoy our site and sister pages!! We’ve had much success, thanks to you!!
However, there will be some changes to the layout of the site, within the next month. We are changing our plan from business to another more affordable plan.
Links to all of R.B’s books will still be available, readers just won’t be able to buy directly from this site, but will be redirected to an official Amazon, Google Books, or other pages, because our site storage will decrease with plan change.
We will let all of our subscribers know when the changes take place.
THANK YOU AGAIN for your support from around the world. If you have any content ideas, please let us know!!
History Flight is a privately-owned, non-profit organization who locate, identify and repatriate the remains of American service members listed as missing in action or non-recoverable. The organization has repatriated over 100 members so far…but there is still much more work to do. Many families are waiting for their loved one to come home.
As an ex-service member, I feel it is our obligation to help locate and bring home those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
History Flight operates from donations…so if you would like to contribute, please see the link on the website. Anything helps. Help History Flight bring closure to families of missing service members.
I had actually committed myself to a bit of charity work in Singapore….in the Summer of 1992. My ship had pulled into Singapore for a two-week stay, and some of us were asked if we wanted to spend a morning with some children at a local orphanage. Several of us went and had a great morning with our new friends. If I recall, we did some painting and light renovation work, but it was still a great experience. When you have the time, try giving some time to others.
An incredible and inspiring young man. He is a credit to his family and village! If there is anything to take away from this, it’s that you should never hold back or give up on helping your fellow man, no matter how big or small you can contribute.
Also, I hope this act of love will be a wake-up call to those who can reach out to under-developed areas…such as musician Akon has done, and help where they can.
