With the trouble and lack of privacy Facebook has served its millions of dedicated users, many are ready to wash their hands of the social networking platform (might as well go ahead and delete messenger and WhatsApp as well).
But, how do you go about that? How do you erase yourself from Facebook?
You can do it the hard way, and start deleting EVERYTHING (photos, posts, etc) manually, one by one…but depending how long you have been on the app, could take a while. Or a week, month, etc.
Follow step one, and download your data beforehand.
I hope the link below can get you started.
With the recent news of Facebook leaking personal data to Cambridge Analytics, people should become more aware of what they could unintentionally share to the world (at a nice profit to many), and take steps to protect it.
There are tons of software that can do the job of hiding, and/or wiping your data from your PC, tablet or phone, perhaps making it safe. There is free software available, such as Avast! or Clean Master, but has limited options, compared to purchased or subscribed versions. In addition to having this software, the best practice is to learn to wipe your personal data from your machine yourself as frequently as possible.
I want to thank everyone who follows rbbaileyjrmedia! I’m doing my best to make this not only a blog but also an “almighty” (Japanese term) site for all my different media, especially my writing.
I don’t have nearly as many followers as my Facebook page (38,000 +), but I’m tryin’! If you like this page, please share a link on your blog or site…I would appreciate it! I’m doing the social exchange thing on a couple of social media exchange sites, and it helps alot. The only downside is that I spend time looking at other sites, to get free views of mine, because I don’t want to pay for views.
I’ve added links to my other social media pages, both on top and sides of the RBBaileyJrMedia homepage.
